Origins in Hawaii
Growing up in Hawaii, I was practically born with a surfboard strapped to my feet. There’s nothing quite like catching perfect waves all day, all year long. Surfing wasn’t just a hobby for me; it was a way of life—a way to connect with nature and challenge myself in the most exhilarating way possible.
Skiing and Climbing in Lake Tahoe
At 18, I packed up my life and headed to Lake Tahoe, California, with dreams of skiing everyday and pursuing my college education. Little did I know, Tahoe would become my playground for skiing, climbing, and all things outdoor adventure. The rugged terrain and breathtaking vistas fueled my passion for exploration, pushing me to conquer new peaks and try new sports which I fell in love with.
Embracing a New Adventure in Europe
After soaking up the mountain lifestyle in Tahoe, I felt the call of the unknown beckoning me to Europe at age 24. Trading my skis for a backpack, I set off on a new adventure, landing in Poland to teach English. Living in Europe has been a whirlwind of culture, language, and unforgettable experiences. From exploring historic cities to meeting people from all over the world, every day is a new opportunity to embrace the thrill of the unknown.
